Welcome
On behalf of the scientific committee, it is with great pleasure that we invite you to Lugano on June 7-8, 2012 in the Palazzo dei Congressi for the Joint Meeting of the Swiss Society of Neurosurgery SSN together with the Society of British Neurological Surgeons SBNS and the Association of Neurosurgical Nursing Staff Switzerland ANNSS. It is a joy to welcoming our British colleagues on the south side of the Swiss Alps on the banks of the beautiful Lago di Lugano.
Distinguished national and international speakers will join us for this meeting, which is configured around four main topics:
- Vascular diseases and treatments
- Tumors
- Integrated op theatre and intraoperative monitoring
- Spinal disorders
The main programme of this meeting will start on Thursday with lectures and presentations and will be continued by free communications. The poster viewing, a second free communication session, lectures and an award ceremony are planed for Friday. A dinner for speakers and members of the board will be on Wednesday, the social dinner on Thursday.
We hope that our programme raises your interest and we would feel honoured if you consider coming to Lugano to join and support our meeting. We believe that this constellation of two societies from different countries will allow rich and exciting exchanges.
