Swiss Society of Neurosurgery SSN

The Swiss Society of Neurosurgery was founded in 1954. It organises two joint meetings per year: a meeting for continuing education in spring and its annual meeting in autumn, always together with another, related society. SSN has 133 members at the moment.

The Society of British Neurological Surgeons SBNS

The Society of British Neurological Surgeons was founded in 1926 and is one of the world’s oldest national neurosurgical societies. The purpose of the Society is the study and advancement of Neurosurgery. This is achieved through the scientific meetings of the Society, through publications arising from deliberations about aspects of Neurosurgical practice and delivery of Neurosurgical services, through fostering professional relationships amongst neurosurgeons and through engagement with the public and bodies involved in the provision of care to patients requiring Neurosurgery.

Association of neurosurgical nursing staff Switzerland ANNSS

The Association of neurosurgical nursing staff Switzerland ANNSS (or IG-NOPPS) was founded in 2005. The association supports the continuing education of its members in collaboration with the Swiss Society of Neurosurgery.
