Welcome to the 5th International Congress of the
Swiss Society of Pulmonary Hypertension
Dear colleagues
The scientific committee is very pleased to present you the next International Congress of the Swiss Society of Pulmonary Hypertension (SSPH) in Thun. The event will be held on September 28 and 29, 2012 at the Congress Hotel Seepark in Thun. It is an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues, working in the fields of cardiology, pneumology, intensive care, rheumatology and surgery.
The scientific programme of the congress is configured around these main topics:
• Evaluation and management of pulmonary hypertension
• Specific diseases associated with pulmonary hypertension
• Treatment of pulmonary hypertension
The lectures and presentations will be complemented by a pro and contra debate, two workshops, a poster viewing, an award ceremony and the general assembly of our society. We are very happy, that it was possible to invite renowned speakers from all over Europe. Experts from France, Germany, Great Britain, Belgium, the Netherlands and of course Switzerland will travel to Thun.
The social dinner will take place inside the enchanting Schloss Schadau.
We look forward to welcoming you on the banks of beautiful Lake Thun.
