Dear Colleagues The second NeuroSpine-Meeting, the advanced course of the Swiss Society of Neurosurgery SSN, will be held at the Kursaal in Bern on March 22, 2012. The second course under the title „A new dynamic view at the treatment of spine disorders “ will be dedicated to the the cervical spine as topic. The aim of this workshop is to build up and to deepen the relationship between neurosurgeons, other specialists and practitioners who are involved in the treatment of patients with symptomatic disorders of the cervical spine every day. We will cover fundamental problems of pain perception, the view of the rheumatologists to the crevical spine, various surgical topics including trauma of the cervical spine with an invited guest speakers from Switzerland and abroad. In addition, we will have a special session on the enigmatic whiplash injury. The scientific committee of the course did not spare any effort to organize an attractive program which ought to catch the attention of invited practitioners and specialists alike. We are convinced that the presentations will be inspiring, fostering interesting debates and discussions. We look forward to welcoming you in Bern in March 2012.
